VSA arts of Kentucky || Lanny Taulbee: Solo Exhibition
This summer VSA arts of Kentucky is proud to present an exhibition of artwork by the 2008 Ron Billings Award recipient, Lanny Taulbee. This exhibition will include works in oils, watercolor, acrylics, pencil and ink held at the Bandy Carroll Hellige Advertising headquarters in Louisville, KY. Nature is primarily the subject matter of Lanny's work, "Capturing the spirit of an animal through their eyes, or drawing a tree to reveal its spirit beneath a rugged exterior: that is what art is all about. Every plant, animal, stone, or mountain has something to say if we only listen. Artists listen to their subject matter and translate their voices into a visual language."
LOCATION: 307 W. Muhammed Ali Blvd
DATES & TIMES: Monday, July 7, 2008 - The exhibit will run from July 7 - September 30, 8:00AM - 5:00PM, Monday - Friday
