Pandora Productions || Jane Chambers' Last Summer at Bluefish Cove ||
First Love with a Secret!

Before there was a "L-Word" came Jane Chambers' stunning story of love in an idyllic setting. The story finds a tight knit group of eight women reuniting for the summer at a beachfront for fun, rest, and relaxation. However, this summer will prove to be different. One of the women in the group is stricken with a serious condition that forces her, as well as everyone else, to reevaluate her life while dealing with issues relating to family, life, death, love, relationships, sex, and, especially, with the fact that they are lesbians-some having already come out of the closet-while others have not. We get a glimpse into the lives of each one of these women, as they interact with one another and deal with the 'stranger among them.' Though not known at the time, playwright Jane Chambers would also succumb to the same illness presented in the play. Pandora is proud to open this show on Chamber's birthday.
